Over Half a Century of Unbiased, Respected
Economic, Financial and Political Analysis from New York City

Our Modus Operandi

In a world in which markets are becoming increasingly integrated, yet where the only constant is change, we believe that business and finance must take a global approach to succeed.

We also believe that country risk analysis is useful only if it is:

Neutral -- showing opportunities as well as dangers
Objective -- free of bias or preconceived notions
Relevant -- purpose-, company-, even product-specific.

We have spent nearly 60 years building up and strengthening a global network of associates with many areas of knowledge and expertise. This network allows us to gather and evaluate information “on the ground” and then put it in a global context.

The evaluations and forecasts contained in our publications are by necessity general, giving our subscribers the best possible, up-to-date and unbiased information to incorporate these developments into their company specific operational needs.

In consulting assignments, we make it a point first to learn as much as we can about the client, to gain a firm understanding of his needs before we offer any assistance or submit a proposal. If agreement in principle is reached, then a written proposal is prepared detailing the services required as well as estimated costs and timing. Clients incur no cost until such a proposal has been accepted. All fees are agreed in advance.

Of course, all information obtained from the client to enable us to provide a tailored service is kept in strictest confidence, by us and all our associates.
